Weekly Winners-The Pole Climbing Edition

This week my hubby was sent to pole climbing class for his job. A friend of his went a few weeks ago and took a photo of another friend at the top of the pole. We got to talking, then he got to talking with the trainers and next thing I knew I was getting invited out there to take some shots on Thursday morning.

Looking through these photos, to see how confident Jeremy is about his job, makes me happy. Its hard enough watching him walk out the door sometimes six days a week to support us, but to see that he enjoys what he's doing, well, that just makes my heart smile.

Many thanks to the trainers and class who let me take their photos. I do hope you enjoy them.

Great shots! I *definitely* couldn't do that sort of thing - I get wobbly up a ladder! ;)

I could not do that job. Those shots are awesome, that is for sure, but the one of him hanging upside down?! Yikes!

What great shots! My father in law is a retired logger, and my husband helped out on the landing long before I ever met him. He talks about climbing trees in a similar fashion... it takes so much skill, strength and a lot of guts! Especially to hang like in that one photo! WOW!

Wow - the one called 'trusting your equipment' made my stomach do that awful leap thing. (Heights and I aren't on friendly terms)

Great pictures! I love the ones of him upside down and the tool belt. I never knew that much stuff could fit in a tool belt. How do they remember what it's all for? Glad to hear your husband likes his job. That always makes things easier.
